Within the role of Operations Assistant for the tour operator Powder Byrne, I can relate so much to what I have studied already in my Business Management degree and it has also helped to give me an academic direction for my final year. The chances Powder Byrne have provided have been fantastic, giving me real responsibility and enabling me to work abroad in the destinations. I would recommend a placement year to everyone as I can see now how it will give me a real edge when applying and working for companies in the future."
